Srinagar, June 3: Shahrukh Dar bagged a five-wicket-haul to steer Ali Jana cricket club to a big win over Red and Blue side in the ongoing second season of Harwan Premier League on Monday.
After finding luck with the coin, Red and Blue decided opted to bat first. However, this decision turned out to be disastrous as they were bundled out on 121 runs in the T20 encounter, thanks to a dreadful spell of bowling by Shahrukh Dar. The pacer removed as many as five batsmen, helping Ali Jana take the upper hand in the match. On the other hand, it was Aijaz for Red and Blue who made gutsy 61 runs in this paltry total.
Although chasing a small total, Ali Jana started off horribly. They lost half of their side on the score of 40. Though it Shahrukh again, this time with his bat. The right-handed batsman piloted his team to a two-wicket win. For Red and Blue side, Arshid Baba picked a brace.
Shahrukh Dar was later awarded man of the match for his all-round performance.
