In the ongoing Hajin Premier League, today two matches were played in which Kashmir Hunks and Meeran CC Batwina registered big wins over their opponents to qualify for next round of the tournament.
In the first match, Kashmir Hunks defeated JCC SK Bala by a big margin of 67 runs. Batting first, Kashmir Hunks posted a huge total of 191/6 on board in allotted 20 overs. Arif Lone was the top scorer with 46 runs while as Rafi and Nadeem added valuable 39 and 36 runs respectively. Waqar took 4 wickets for SK Bala.
In reply, SK Bala failed to chase the target as they bundled out on just 124 runs in 16.2 overs. Aijaz was the main contributer with 20 runs to his name. For Kashmir Hunks, Mir Suhail and Arif Lone bagged 3 wickets each.
Arif Lone was declared as player of the match for his all-round performance.
In the second match of the day, Meeran CC Batwina outplayed Mash Eagles Poshpora in a low scoring contest by 3 wickets.
Batting first, Poshpora bundled out on mere 68 runs in 16 overs. Shiekh Rayees was the highest scorer with 15 runs to his name. For Meeran CC, Junaid scalped 4 wickets in his 4 overs. In response, Meeran Batwina chased down the target in the 15th over of the match for the loss of 7 wickets. Junaid was the top scorer with unbeaten 17 runs to his name.
Junaid was adjudged as player of the match for his all-round performance.
