
In the ongoing Hajin Premier League, today two matches were played in which Bhat Cricket Club and PCC SK Bala emerged as victorious.
In the first match, Bhat Cricket Club defeated Kangan Gymkhana in a low scoring contest by 6 wickets.
Batting first, Kangan Gymkhana bundled out on just 92 runs in 16.2 overs. Tawseef was the top scorer with 19 runs to his name. For BCC, Riyaz and Lateef took 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
In response, BCC chased down the target comfortably in 14.5 overs losing only 4 wickets. Rafeeq Dar played a valuable knock of 39 runs. Enaam took 2 wickets for Kangan.
Lateef Ahmad was declared as player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.
While as in the second match of the day, PCC SK Bala piped Wonder Boys Safapora in a nail-biting finish by just 3 runs.
Opting to bat first, PCC posted a total of 153/5 on board in allotted 20 overs. Shahid played a brilliant knock of 68 runs while as Ishtiyaq added valuable 27 runs. Hilal bagged 3 wickets for Safapora.
In reply, Wonder Boys fought hard with the willow but eventually felt short of the target by just 3 runs(150/10 in 19.5). Saifuddin top scored with blistering 68 runs to his name. Jahangeer Wani took 3 wickets for PCC.
Jahangeer Wani was adjudged as player of the match for his match winning spell.
