In the ongoing first Golden Brand’s T20 cricket tournament Ahmed Reds defeated Star XI in last over thriller in the match played at Gani Memorial Sports Stadoium Srinagar on May-10-2018.
Star XI won toss and elected to bat first, scoring 138 in the alloted 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Javiad scored 55 runs while Mehraj scored 45 runs. From Ahmed Reds Shabir took 3 wickets and Aunja took 2 wickets
In reply Ahmed Reds won the match in crucial last over by 1 wicket. Riyaz scored 31 runs and Ashiq 30 runs. For Star XI, Shabir and Javeed took 3 wickets each. Aunja was declared man of the match and received award from Shabir Ah Kanta (Ex Ranji Trophy Player)
