Superb batting performance by Irfan Ashraf helped Muslim Cricket Club defeat Rajouri Kadal Heroes in the match of the Gani Kashmiri Super League on Monday.
Batting first Heroes scored 122 runs for the loss of all wickets. Showkat Kota scored 56 while as Ajaz scored 19 for them. Imtiyaz Malla and Asif took two wickets each for Muslim CC. In reply Muslim CC achieved target in 19 overs for the loss of only 2 wickets. Irfan Ashraf scored 56 while as Watson scored 25 for them. Tahseen scored 23. Showkat took one wicket for Heroes. Irfan was given man of the match. Muslim has qualified for second round of the event.
