Muslim Cricket Club defeated Elegant Strikers in a scintillating super over during second round match of the Gani Kashmiri Super League on Thursday.
In super over Strikers were in need of scoring five runs set by the Muslim CC, but they scored only one. With this win Muslim CC booked place in semifinal of the event.
Earlier batting first Elegant scored 14 runs. Hyder Ali scored 53 while as Ubaid scored 29. Adil took three wickets while as Tariq took one for Muslim CC.
In reply Muslim also scored exact 145 runs in allotted overs. Khalid scored 51 while as Muzamil 31. In last over Muslim needed to score 15 and they were able to score 14 to tie the match. That gave way to super over in which Muslim prevailed.
