The inter college table tennis tournament (men) concluded here at Directorate of physical education and sports university of kashmir.
The final was played between GDC Kargil and GDC leh.In a closely contested match,GDC Leh emerged winners by winning 3 sets in best of 5.Earlier two semifinals were played GDC Kargil defeated Gandhi Memorial college by (2 games-nil) whereas GDC Leh defeated S P College by ( 2 games -1 game).Prof. Khursheed Iqbal Andrabi Vice Chancellor, university of Kashmir in his congratulatory message appreciated the teams from leh and kargil for participation in tournament and applauded the staff of the Directorate for inviting teams from far off areas as part of governors initiative for promotion of Sports.Prof. Nisar Ahmad Rather ,Director, Physical Education and Sports accompanied by assistant directors distributed the prizes among teams and assured them ofevery possible support..The tournament was organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports university of Kashmir.
