Former USA International Amjad Khan to represent UAE in Masters cricket event

Srinagar: Continuing his passion and love for the game, a well known cricketer who plays in Kashmir Super League Dubai, Amjad Khan has been included in the UAE team for the 4th Over 50’s cricket World Cup, of International Masters Cricket.

Amjad Khan who is former International Cricketer from USA with roots in Kashmir, will be representing UAE in the 4th Over 50’s cricket World Cup to be played in Sri Lanka from February 9th to 23rd.

The International Masters Cricket (IMC) event will feature 14 countries including hosts Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and South Africa, a KSL post on Facebook reads.
England are the current world champions, it further read.
“Amjad Khan, who has represented the USA national team has been a consistent performer across multiple countries, including USA, UK and UAE. He will form the backbone of the batting lineup that includes former UAE captain, Khurram Khan. Amjad has been sponsoring and leading Dachigam Hangul in the Kashmir Super League (KSL) and also plays for The Cricketers Club (TCC) in the FCL league in Dubai,” posts further adds.
