With the hope of earning an outright win and not wasting any further time, hosts Jharkhand allowed J&K to get first inning lead as they declared their first inning on 292/9 at lunch on third day of the Ranji trophy match at Jamshedpur on Saturday.
Jharkhand gave J&K first inning lead of 84 runs with the hope to bundle out them cheaply in second inning and go out for an outright win.
The reduce the first inning margin with only one wicket in hand would have wasted time for Jharkhand and with the position they are in at points table it would not have served any purpose for them.
Earlier Amir Aziz took three wicket and Mudhasir one for J&K. In its first inning J&K had scored 376 runs and now at the moment in its second inning are at 18/0 with the lead of 102 runs.
