Srinagar, October 22: FCC Nowhatta beat GCC Goripora in the final to lift the second edition of Goripora Premier League on Friday.
Earlier, batting first, Nowhatta posted a good total of 178 runs on board. Majid (30) and Aijaz (21) played cameos.
In reply, despite a heroic knock of 42 in 22 balls by Uzair, GCC Goripora couldn’t chase down the target. They were restricted on 146 runs, handing Nowhatta a 32-run win.
Aijaz, for his 21 runs and wickets, was named man of the final.
