Sopore, December 19: Goldy XI beat Pathan XI in the exhibition match played in memory of late Tariq Ahmad Mir on Sunday at Janwara.
Batting first, Goldy XI posted a good total of 184 runs on board with Fayaz making 38. For Pathan XI, Shahnaz picked a couple of wickets.
In reply, Pathan XI lost wickets on regular intervals, failing to chase the total. Ibrahim remained the highest run-getter as he made 40. For Goldy XI, Hilal scalped three wickets.
