Srinagar: Former Australia pacer and currently Pakistan bowling coach Shauk Tait said that England came out all guns blazing which put their bowlers off-guard.
England thrashed Pakistan by eight wickets in 6th T20I to level the series. England chased 170 run target in 14th over with Phil Salt thrashing Pakistan bowlers.
“They came out all guns blazing which put our bowlers off guard. I don’t think we did a lot wrong, it was just great batting and you need to give credit to England batters,” Tait said in a post match press conference.
Phil Salt smashed an unbeaten career-best 41-ball 88 to dismantle Pakistan’s bowling attack.
“The last game was a bit different and was harder to attack and that sort of favoured us as we got early wickets,” said Shaun.
“They just put us off tonight, starting hitting boundaries from ball one Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. It was a good time to bat on second as the ball was coming on to the bat better,” the former Aussie speedster added.
The last match of the series is in Lahore on Sunday.
