Despite triple strike by skipper Parvez Rasool , hosts Kerala crawled to 131 runs for the loss of five wicket at lunch on the third day of the Ranji trophy match at Trivandrum on Friday.
Just before lunch, Amir Aziz broke the 65 run partnership Arun Karthick and Prem. He got the wicket of Karthick reducing hosts to 131 runs and with overall lead of 177 run.
Earlier Parvez Rasool rattled the Kerala batting soon after the start of third days play,. He bagged three back to back wickets leaving Kerala tattering on 66/4. He got wickets of Saxena, Sanju Samson, and Sachin baby. However after that Pre, formed partnership with Karthivk to take Kerala total past 131 run mark.
With this Parvez has so far bagged nine wickets in the match. And now J&K would like to wrap up Kerala quickly so that to give themselves a chance of a victory.
