Delina, May 29: In the first Quarter-final match of the ongoing Delina Champions League, Ghani Sports Delina defeated Ghani Sports Choora in a nail-biting finish by 13 runs to enter Semi-finals of the tournament.
Batting first, GS Delina posted a total of 172/5 on board in alloted 20 overs. Qazi Sabahat played a brilliant knock of 53 runs while as Naushad and Ishfaq scored 39 and 37 runs respectively. Zahoor and Yaseen took 2 wickets each for Choora.
Chasing the target, Choora fought hard with the bat but eventually felt short of the target by just 13 runs(159/10 in 17.5 overs). Saleem and Zahoor scored 27 and 24 runs respectively. Qazi Irfan took 4 wickets for GS Delina while as Sajid Tantary also bagged 3 wickets in his spell.
Qazi Syed Irfan was declared as player of the match for his match winning bowling spell.
