Srinagar: Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has been fined for overspeeding for exceeding the speed limit on motorway.
According to report in Cricket Pakistan, Shahid Afridi while travelling from Lahore to Karachi was found violating speed limits on the highway and police fined him Rs. 1,500.
“The 42-year-old paid the fine and thanked the highway police for treating all citizens equally. Praising the motorway police, Afridi emphasised that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law,” report said.
“The former all-rounder also took pictures with motorway police personnel,” report added.
