Srinagar: The two talented water sports players, Ashique Tinda and Villayat Malik bagged bronze medal for JK in the ongoing Canoe Slalom national championship held at Indore.
Ashique Tinda and Villayat Malik finished third in C2 category event thus secured bronze medal for the State.
A water sport has always in forefront in bringing laurels for State at national and International level. Players from Kashmir has bagged numerous medals in the sports over the years. Currently under the guidance of International water sport coach, Bilquis Mir adding new dimensions with each passing day.
Recently Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti inaugurated the Water Sports School that has been equipped with latest boats.
