Srinagar: Though JK BSNL failed to make into the playoffs of the ongoing 16th All India BSNL Football Meet, Tameeem Ahmad shined for the JK side with two goals scored in a win against Delhi.
JKBSNL were grouped along with Delhi and Kerala. In the first match, JK defeated Delhi by 2-0 goals. It was the first match of the event and JK dominated the whole match thanks to Tameem Ahmad. Tameem scored both goals for the team. The first goal was scored in 25th minute while as second was scored in 52nd minute. In the second match against Kerala, JK suffered 2-0 defeat. With all three teams having one win each in the group, Kerala got its way into playoff owing to better goal average.
