A blazing knock of 77 runs by Basharat helped Rising Stars Budgam to lift Budgam Premier League T20-2017 title defeating Gousia Cricket Club Sheikhpora by eight wickets at Sheikhpora playing field , Budgam on Saturday.
Gousia cricket club won the toss and elected to bat first , they scored 134 runs in allotted overs. Skipper Imran Haroon top scored 50 runs off 45 for them. For Rising Stars, Irshad took two wickets.
In reply, Rising Stars Budgam playing under , Manzoor Pandaw achieved the required target in 15-overs for the loss of two wickets. Basharat played brilliant knock of 77 runs for them.
International cricketer of Kashmir, Parvez Rasool was chief guest on the occasion. He interacted with the cricketers most of whom were his J&K Ranji trophy teammates.
The event was organized by Sheikh ul Aalam SDA Sheikhpora Budgam and in it more than 100 teams from all over valley participated.
