Shahid Afridi seems top be no more in the national team plan as he is not even in the list of players getting central contracts this year, but not missing any of the opportunity to entertain his fans, Boom Boom took 4 wickets for just 12 runs in his second BPL 2016 match.
Former Pakistan cricket team T20 skipper didn’t took much time to show his power and grabbed wickets on both his 1st and 2nd ball on the match.
For his superb performance, which led his BPL side Rangpur Riders for a 9-wicket win, he was awarded Man of the Match (MoM).
While talking at the presentation, Shahid Afridi said: “I played last game in August. After that, I played yesterday. I was excited to come back and play with the youngsters. I’m keeping things simple and trying to bowl as much as I can in line with the wickets. I love challenges. Cricket is all about enjoyment. Bowlers have done a great job in both games. That’s why we are practicing tomorrow as our batsmen need some practice.”
