Punit Bisht slammed blazing ton off 108 balls as his unbeaten partnership with Owais Shah (79*) took J&K to 357/6 at the end of first days play in Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand at Jamshedpur on Thursday.
Forming a 149 unbetean partnership with Owais Shah, Punit Bisht completed his ton in 108 balls that included 18 boundaries. After 90 overs completed in a day, he was batting on 101 truns off 110 balls with J&K score on 357/6. At the other end Owais Shah was batting on unbeaten 79 off 142 balls that included 9 fours and 3 sixes.
Earlier Shubham Khajuria also slammed a brilliant ton for J&K. he got out after scoring 101 off 153 balls that included 10 fours and 4 sixes. After his fall Owais Shah and Bisht formed strong unbeaten stand of 149 runs. They countered the attack and played aggressively to get HJ&K out of trouble.
With four wickets in hand two set batsman at the crease J&K now would be hoping to put a big total on board on second and then put pressure on hosts.
