Srinagar, November 22: Mudit Mavericks Monday beat NCC Newa by 20 runs in the ongoing Big Bash tourney at Wathoora.
Batting first, Mavericks started quite well. However, some tight bowling by Newa bowlers put them on backfoot. They lastly posted a decent score of 151 runs on board.
In response, NCC lost wickets in quick succession. They never looked in the game and could make only 131 runs. Zahid picked three while Imitiyaz and Gowher scalped two wickets each.
Imtiyaz, for his 40 runs and 2 wickets, was named player of the match.
