Sopore, March 10: In the sixth match of the ongoing Big Bash Cup Seer WSA Wagub defeated FCC Hathlangoo in a close contest by 7 runs on Thursday.
FCC Hathlangoo won the toss and decided to bowl first. WSA, despite loosing early wickets in the power-play, managed to score a healthy total of 167/9 in alloted 20 overs. Ishfaq played a gritty knock of 48 runs while as Saleem Jan added 30 runs as well. For FCC Mohsin took 3 wickets while as Basit and Junaid scalped 2 wickets each.
In response, the match went down to the wire but FCC Hathlangoo fell short of the target by just 7 runs(160/9 in 20 overs).Tanveer scored 35 runs while as Amir had 31 runs to his name. For Wagub Ishfaq and Parvaiz took 2 wickets each.
Ishfaq Lone was declared as player of the match for his all-round performance.
