Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan on Monday confirmed that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has refused to tour the country.
He added that it is unlikely for Bangladesh to make the visit at this time.
The PCB chairman elaborated that Pakistan had invited Bangladesh to tour the country for two Twenty20 matches after the conclusion of International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Champions Trophy.
“However, BCB declined the invite,” Khan said and added the national team’s visit to Bangladesh is scheduled for July.
“Pakistan’s visit is not yet confirmed.”
The top officials of PCB and BCB are set to meet next month during an upcoming ICC meet-up.
