Ahmad Banday, Shubham Pundir and Fazil Rashid shined with the bat as J&K chased down huge target of 301 runs against Delhi in the first match of the Under-23 One Day league at Amtar on Sunday.
J&K after opting to bat first were set a target of 301 runs to win by Delhi. J&K with the help of some fine batting by Ahmad Banday, Shubham Pundir and Fazil Rashid chased down target in 48.5 overs for the loss 5 wickets.
Ahmad Banday scored 83 off 86 balls while as Shubham Pundir scored 78 off 69 and Fazil Rashid scored unbeaten 68 off 68.
Earlier Delhi with the help of 80 runs scored by Hiten Dalal scored 301 runs in their allotted overs. Rohit Sharma took three while as Abid Mushtaq took two wickets for JK.
