Department of Physical Education Islamia College Srinagar started its inter-group sports activities by inaugurating badminton competition at college campus on Thursday.
In the inter-group activity, competitions of football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and basketball.
The badminton tournament was inaugurated by Principal of the college, Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat and Convener Sports Committee Prof. Shamim Ahmad. In the first match of the tournament team ICS Blues defeated ICS Reds by 2-1 games. For Blues Team, Ayash, Jumaid and Umair won their matches. In the second match of the tournament ICS Oranges won the match against ICS Yellows by 2-0 games.
