On the directions of administrators J&K Cricket Association Chief Executive Officer Syed Ashique Bukhari has appointed former ranji player from Jammu Ashwini Gupta as chief selector while as skipper Parvez Rasool has also being included in the selection process.
In the order issued by Bukhari it has been mentioned that in order to make transparency and accountability in selection process of JKCA Ashwini Gupta ex ranji skipper is appointed chief of selection committee while as Parvez Rasool current ranji trophy skipper shall be member of the committee in addition to already appointed selectors.
The changes in selection committee have been made after the feedback got by administrators from various sources during their 4-day visit.
