Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretary youth wing, Arif Laigroo has hailed international cyclist of Kashmir Akber Khan for bringing laurels to the state in professional cycling arena of the country.
Akber Khan recently bagged positions in the Mumbai-Pune 180-Kilometre cyclone and also in 110-kilometre Satara Cyclothon in Maharashtra.
“Akber has once again made J&K proud. He is real role model of sports in J&K. Not only he has himself performed well in national arena but has motivated and guided hundreds of cyclists in our state,” said Laigroo.
The youth PDP leader said that he would be felicitating Akber and another cyclist Parvaiz who also bagged position in the event upon their return to Kashmir.
