Srinagar: The all-round show from Achintya Raj Khajuria for J&K resulted in a crushing 125 win against Manipur in the match of thr Vino Mankad Trophy tournament at GMSSS Sec-26 Cricket Ground on Wednesday.
Achintya scored superb knock of 117 runs and then went on to claim four wicket haul as J&K dominated Manipur with both bat and ball.
Batting first, J&K posted, 316 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 50 overs. Achintya top scored with 117 from 117 Ball’s while as Salman Ahmed scored 71. Mudasir Abdullah remained not out on 28.
In reply Manipur got all out fot 191 run total. Max and N Basant with 28 each were highest scorers for them while as Achintya took four wickets for J&K. Dhruv Sharma took three wickets.
With one win, two defeats and one no result, J&K stand at fifth place in Group D.
