After the attacking knock of 67 runs from 81 balls by Ahmad Banday J&K inning collapsed to 175/7 on the second day of the Ranji trophy match against Haryana at Lahli on Saturday.
J&K are still trailing Haryana’s first inning total of 184 by nine runs with three wickets in hand.
J&K got off to flying start to their inning thanks to Ahmad Banday’s attacking play. J&K was looking set to pass Haryana’s first inning total with easy if collapse would not have happened.
Banday scored 67 runs off 81 balls that included 11 boundaries. Punit Bisht was next best scorer with 35 run knock. Parvez Rasool run out after scoring 24 off 26 balls while as Owais Shah got out after scoring 28.
Earlier Haryana got all out for 184 runs in their first inning. For J&K Ram Dayal took five wicket haul while as Mohammad Mudhasir took four. Parvez Rasool chipped in with one wicket.
