Aakif Reshi scored twice against his former club Lone Star Kashmir FC as J&K Bank booked place in the final of the 1st Maharaja Football tournament at GGM Science College ground on Monday.
In the semifinal, J&K Bank outplayed Lone Star by 3-1 goals. At half time , JK Bank was leading by 2-0 goals. First goal was scored by Danish through beautiful carved free kick while as second goal was scored by Aakif Reshi.
In second half Lone Star tried to bounce back as they scored one goal making score 2-1. Dayanshu Kachru was scorer. But Aakif again came back to haunt his former club scoring his second and third for the team. With that goal outcome of match sealed in JK bank’s favor.
In final Bank will clash with Real Kashmir who had earlier in the day defeated JK Police through penalties.
