Srinagar, August 12, 2026: The Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League (KSL) 2026, powered by Athwas Retail and Athwas Hyundai, has completed its six-team franchise line-up with the inclusion of United Elegant FC, the champions of the inaugural season.
The return of United Elegant FC as the sixth and final franchise adds further excitement to the second edition of the Kashmir Super League, with the Season 1 champions now set to defend their title against five other ambitious teams.
United Elegant FC made history by winning the inaugural KSL title and will enter the upcoming season with the added responsibility of defending their crown. Their participation also brings continuity to the competition as the league prepares for an expanded and more competitive second season.
The KSL management has welcomed United Elegant FC back to the tournament and congratulated the club on completing the six-franchise line-up for KSL 2026.
With all six franchises now officially confirmed, preparations for the upcoming season are gaining momentum. The league is expected to provide an enhanced platform for football talent from Jammu & Kashmir while creating greater opportunities for local clubs and players to compete at a higher level.
