‘We are not enemies’: Imad Wasim on relationship with Babar Azam

Srinagar: Out of favour Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has shed light on his complicated relation with Pakistan skipper Babar Azam.

Speaking on Haarna Mana Hay, show Imad said he is not enemy of Babar.

“The answer to this question is complicated but there is no truth in the fact that we are enemies,” said Imad when asked why he is no longer close to Babar.

Imad, who made his ODI and T20I debut in 2015, last played an international match for Pakistan during a T20 against New Zealand in Rawalpindi earlier this year. However, his last appearance in ODI cricket came in 2020.

Earlier, Imad revised his prediction about semi-finalists of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 on Sunday after Afghanistan stunned defending champions England.

“South Africa, New Zealand, India, and one team from Australia, Pakistan and England will qualify for the semis,” Imad said.

Before the start of the tournament, Imad had named Pakistan, India, England and South Africa as the semi-finalists.
