Srinagar: J&K Bank FC kicked off its campaign with the win over Arco FC as Srinagar Premier Football League 2023 was inaugurated at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground Srinagar on Monday.
The inaugural day witnessed two matches that set the stage for an intense and action-packed season.
In the opening match, Star Kashmir FC held Lone Star KFC to a draw. The second match of the day showcased the talent of J&K Bank XI, who faced Arco FC. J&K Bank Beat Arco FC by 3:1, Aakif from J&K Bank was awarded player of the match by Chairman JKFA Wasim Aslam.
The successful commencement of the Srinagar Premier Football League 2023 is the culmination of the relentless hard work and dedication of Bashir Ahmad Malik, President of DFA, and the entire representative team of DFA Srinagar. Their efforts in organizing such a historic and professional league are commendable and deserving of our appreciation, JKFA statement said.
