Odhisa on Sunday beat J&K by 30 runs in the ongoing BCCI Women’s U-19 T20 Trophy at DVR Ground, Malupadu.
Batting first, Odhisa posted a good total of 134 runs on board. They got off to a good start but struggled in the middle overs. But J&K’s not-so-impressive bowling at the death ensured Odhisa finishing on top.
Pujarani Das (39 off 21) was the main contributor. For J&K, Maroof Anjum and Ananya Sharma took a wicket each.
In reply, a few J&K got starts but none of them could convert them into big scores. They ended up making 104/7 in the allotted 20 overs, rewarding an easy win of 30 runs to Odhisa.
Afreen (29), Bawandeep (22) and Sadiya (21) were the top scorers for J&K while Bhabani and Jyot picked two wickets each for Odhisa. J&K will next play Pondicherry on October 04.
