Srinagar: J&K Under-23 Women’s Cricket team is on roll as they have registered three victories out of four matches played in the ongoing Under-23 Women’s One Day Trophy.
On Friday, J&K team playing its fourth match in the tournament defeated Bihar by four wickets at Cuttack. Earlier J&K won the toss and invited Bihar to bat first. The whole Bihar team got all out for 79 run total. Aradhiya Raj with 18 runs was highest scorer for them while as Yashita Singh scored 11. Ananya Sharma took three wickets for J&K while as Iqra Rasool and Heena Kousar took two each. Nadia Chowdhary took one wicket.
In reply J&K achieved target for the loss of six wickets in 31.2 overs. Bismah Hassan with 25 was highest scorer for J&K while as Lalita remained not out on nine. In J&K inning Bihar bowlers bowled 28 extras. For Bihar, Apurva took three wickets while as Aarya took wickets.
It is third win for J&K side in the tournament out of four matches played. Earlier they defeated Mizoram by five wickets and Meghalaya by seven wickets. They suffered only defeat against Pudicherry by seven wickets.
