Star Sports Binar beat Lasjan Sports by 9 runs in the match of ongoing 2nd Palhallan T20 Super Cup cricket tournament at Palhallan here on June 26.
Earlier Star Sports Binar won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost wickets in quick succession and were reduced to hence 77 for 7 in 13 overs. When it was looking that they will bundle out for low total the number 8 batsman joined the act scoring 50 off 34 balls. They finished on 147 for 9 in 20 overs. Aamir took 3 wickets for Lasjan Sports.
In reply, Lasjan Sports started well by scoring 46-2 inside powerplay , but once spinners were introduced into the attack they started loosing momentum. They tried to play big shots giving away wickets and then got bundled out for 138. Mubashir scored 35 runs for Lasjan Sports while Hilal contributed 22 runs. Mudasir took 3 wickets for Star Sports Binar.
Zahid was awarded Man of Match for his match saving knock at the end of their innings.
