Srinagar: The 3-day basketball coaching camp organized by Sports Council Kashmir concluded at Central High School, Vashwuk, Pulwama on Monday.
Around 50 students hailing from different parts of Pulwama participated the coaching camp.At the end of the event, the youngest players were awarded with T-shirts and caps.
This is first time that Basketball camp was held in our District and I am happy to learn the basic skills of the basketball, one of the trainee.
The camp was \held with aim to revive the basketball sport in the District and for that initiative was taken by Secretary Sports Council.
We are very thankful to Secretary Council, Waheed Ur Rehmaan Para for deputing coach and giving direction to revive the game in the district, another trainee said.
The camp was held under the basketball certified coach, Mir Mursaleen who was deputed to District by sports Council.
