26 YEARS OLD ORPHAN GIRL BAGS SILVER IN INTERNATIONAL WUSHU CHAMPIONSHIP

Twenty Six-year old Kashmiri orphan girl Abida bags Silver medal  in the senior category of Wushu at the International Championship in Malaysia.

Abida who hails from Chittibandey Chanpal remote area of Bandipora district.

“It was my dream to get the gold but i missed this time but still I am proud of it, next time i will get the gold and make my Kashmir proud, she said.wushu girl

She had warm words for her coach Master Fasil Ali.

 Speaking to Kashmir Scenario, Abida said, “I feel really good about this. i would like to thank my master “Fasil Ali sir who helped in my training and worked hard. I am really happy.”

Abida dedicated her win to her coach  who motivated and supported her throughout the Championship.

Meanwhile, Fasil Ali revealed that they had faced a lot of hurdles to reach so far, especially because of the unavailability of enough sources in the state.

“It is a huge thing to win this silver medal as there are not much resources for sports in Kashmir. Abida faced a lot of hurdles to reach here,” the coach said.
