Srinagar: In the district Bandipora Rugby championship that started on Wednesday 22 teams from district are participating.
The event inaugurated on Wednesday by GM Pinchoo, President of Auqaf Committee Kulhama Bandipora at Nadihal Wular Ground Bandipora.
He appreciated all the teams and encouraged them for playing this beautiful sport.
In senior boys ca tegory, Plan Bandipora Rugby Club beat Kulhama Rugby Club by 1-0 and Young Guns Alli Sports Academy Rugby Club beat Garoora Rugby Club by 2-1. In junior boys category, Chitthebandey Rugby Club beat Lankrishipora Rugby Club by 2-0. In sub-junior boys category, Kulhama Warriors beat Nadihal Red Bulls by 3-0. And in girls category Nadihal Rugby Club beat Kulhama Rugby Club by 2-1.
