2 J&K players selected for 7th PARS Cup-Iran

Rajinder Singh (Bronze medalist) in the 14th World wushu championship in kazan -2017 and Pradeep Kumar (BRONZE Medallist) in the the SAF Games selected to represent India in the 7th PARS CUP Iran from 23 to 26th June. The 14 member team was sanctioned by Sports authority of India at Cost to government. 20180622_124056
Rajinder  Singh recently secured  SILVER medal in the Asia Cup at Guangzhou (China) and he has qualified for the world cup to be held in china in the month of November 2018.  He has also won silver medal in the 9th Asian wushu championship at Taipei in 2016.
On the basis of the performance he was this year configured with State award for the outstanding players by the J&K government. Pradeep Kumar is already in the Asian Games national coaching camp at SAI Bhopal. The team left for Iran yesterday on 22nd June and will arrive on 27th June.
The chief coach of India Kuldeep Handoo has baded best of luck to the Indian team and 02 players of the j&k  for the championship.
 The office bearers of wushu Association of J&K Sh. S Owais,IPS, Sh. H K Lohia,IPS Sh. Vijay saraf, Sh. Ranjeet Kalra, Sh.Deepak Handa Sh. Sunil Sharma, Sh. Sohit Sharma has congratulated both the players and wished best of luck to both the players and the Indian team.
