2-day State football academy trials concludes in Ganderbal

Ganderbal 17 Aug: The two-day trials of  State  Football  Academy for Ganderbal concluded with 60 players making it to final selection list .The trials were conducted at Madr-e-Meharban stadium here.academy

Star footballer  Mehraj din wadooo  and coach Satpal Singh were  selection panelists for the trials.

Over 800 budding players of various age groups ranging from under 17 to under 12 gave trials  in two day trials session.

Selection panel were surprised to see large interest  for football in Ganderbal .Players from far flung villages  of Sonmarag  and Kulan turned up for the trials traveling about 100 KM.

Mubashir  12 year old who came from Ladakh  stunned every one with his skills and won heart of Wadoo.

Addressing to player after the trials Wadoo said that grass root development is top most priority of SFA .He would gave every  contribution to grass root development  of football in Kashmir.

Meharjudin Wadoo also promised to setup offshoot academy at Kangan which Will cater aspiring footballer of far flung areas of Ganderbal.

Early Wadoo was welcomed by large gathering of fans and footballers with flower bookies. Many of the fans were excited to see Wadoo first time and were clicking selfies and asking for autographs.

Muzamil Mohammed State Football Academy coach hailing from Ganderbal praised Wadoo and Satpal Singh for working dedicatedly for development of football in Jammu and Kashmir.
