Srinagar: In first of its kind two-day format match in Srinagar, ZCC defeated Jamia hurricans by an inning and 98 runs at Kashmir University.
For ZCC a mammoth hundreds scored by Haziq Bhat and Zahid Badyari were the highlights. Batting first Jamia Hurricans were bundled out for 170 runs. Hamid with 57 runs was highest scorer for them while as Adnan Gojwari took 4 wickets in his 12 overs of spell for ZCC.
In its first inning ZCC amassed a mammoth total of 423/5 on board thanks to unbeaten knock of 153 runs by Haziq Bhat and 144 run knock by Shahid Badyari. Saleem Beigh scored 60 not out while as Haadi Alaqbandh scored 57.
In its second inning Jamia Hurricanes again failed scoring only 160 runs. They lost the match by an innings and 98 runs.Arif Sofi took 4 wickets for ZCFC while as Sarfraz was highest scorer for Jamia with 58.
