First Basharat Memorial Judo Cup organized by Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association and senior Judokas of the Valley in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (JKSSC) held at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar concluded on Thursday.
Around 300 judokas, both boys and girls from different schools, colleges & clubs participated in the championship. Nusrat Gazala, Sports Officer Central, JKSSC was the chief guest, while District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Muzaffar Tramboo was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Among others present were the father of late Basharat Aslam Khan and other dignitaries from J&K Judo Association including Abdul Hamid Khan, Vice President, Gowher Khan, Joint Secretary, Shafkat Shafi, JKSSC Judo Coach, Sheikh Tulal, Manager S.K.I.S.C and senior judokas who made all efforts to make this event successful.
