In the ongoin 12th Prof. Yousuf memorial cricket cup, Government Degree College (GDC) Anantnag defeated Post Graduates Kashmir University by 34 runs at Islamia College of Science and Commerce Srinagar ground here on September 19.
After winning the toss the Post Graduate-XI elected to field first. Batting first GDC Anantnag scored 155 runs in allotted 25 overs. Hilal with 41 runs and Mujtaba with 21 were highest scorer for them.For Post Graduates-XI Schnian and Irfan took two wickets each.
In reply Post Graduates-XI got all out for 122 runs only in 23.5 Overs. Haseeb with 19 and Zamin with 25 were highest scorers for them while as Zahid and Umer took three wickets each for Govt. Degree College Anantnag.
Hilal of GDC Anantnag was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant batting performance.
