Why was no ball not reviewed: Brad Hogg questions controversial moments of IndvsPak clash

Srinagar: Former Australian cricketer turned expert Brad Hogg has raised several questions on the controversial decisions made during India vs Pakistan high profile clash of T20 World Cup at MCG on Sunday.

In the thrilling encounter India beat Pakistan by four wickets on last ball with Virat Kohli playing unbelievable innings.

However, the match had plenty of controversial moments with two coming in last over bowled by Mohammad Nawaz.

The fourth of the last over bowled by Mohammad Nawaz was hit for a six by Virat Kohli. However umpires called that no ball for height and awarded extra run and free hit to India.

Later, Nawaz bowled Virat Kohli but as it was free hit, Kohli survived. However, ball after hitting stumps went towards third man with India taking three runs. Pakistan protested that ball is dead after hitting stumps but were denied.

It has become a hot topic on internet with former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg also raising questions on the two questionable calls.

“Why was no ball not reviewed, then how can it not be a dead ball when Kohli was bowled on a free hit,” Brad Hogg Tweeted.

“With all the contaversy in final over you can’t take away we witnessed a great display of batting prowess from a great. Well batted Virat Kohli,” Brad Hogg another Tweet read.

The Australian also hailed the thrilling encounter and said fans of both teams would be proud.

“Pakistan and India thank you for not letting the hype before the game turn into a fizzle. Another great match between you both, need more of it. Fans of both teams be proud of all players,” He Tweeted.

Earlier Brad Hogg had raised similar query on questionable run out of Axar Patel.

“Thoughts on Axar Patel run out?
I don’t think the ball is touching stumps as bails are dislodged. Middle stump is the only one in question as ball never touches other stumps,” Brad Hogg Tweeted.
