Srinagar: The veteran and once premier pacer of the J&K team onMonday made stunning comeback in J&K cricket team by bowling a superb spell of bowling that helped J&K beat Andhra in the match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 by 5 wickets.
Before the tournament when Ram Dayal who has been nursing injuries and facing fitness issues for long was included in the J&K team lot of questions were raised. One particular question was on Dayal’s fitness. One main person who raised the question and even went on to say that Ram Dayal himself said he is unfit and still got into team was Abid Nabi. Abid Nabi made these claims after he did not found place in the team. Echoing his words were many on social media platform and it was then JKCA who said that Dayal passed fitness test.
Still there were questions and objections and with Dayal not finding place in J&K team for first three matches, it was slowly becoming suspicious.
However all those queries questions, claims came to rest on Monday with veteran bowling a great spell of bowling on live television. He was the main bowler as J&K restricted Andhra to 146 run total. He bowled four over spell in which he gave only 23 runs. He also took main two wickets of Andhra at top of the order.
He looked well in fitness and if there was any question those all have been quashed now.
