Sopore, Nov 18: In the ongoing Welkin Premier League Football Tournament held at Ruby Ground Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin Sopore, today Sanctorum Football Club defeated host team Welkin Blues in a one sided contest by 4:0.
The stakes of the match were high as both the teams have had a great history of producing thrillers and all eyes were on this clash of two energetic teams.
As soon as the match started, Sanctorum FC from the very first minute showed great intent and soon opened their account with a brilliant goal by their skipper Arsalan.
Welkin Blues on the other side tried to stop the momentum of Sanctorum Fc but riding on Arsalan’s scintillating Hat-trick, Sanctorum soon managed to take the lead to 3:0.
In the second half of the match, Sanctorum continued their momentum and Umar’s goal meant that Sanctorum cruised to a big win of 4:0 over home team Welkin Blues.
Skipper Arsalan was adjudged as player of the match for his brilliant Hat-trick.
