We were not playing against Donald Duck-XI:Real Kashmir FC coach after Mohun Bagan loss

Srinagar: Clearly disappointed with the defeat Real Kashmir FC Scottish coach David Robertson said that they were beaten by a quality side like Mohun Bagan and not some Donald Duck-XI.

In a post match press conference David Robertson on a lighter clear cut note said that the reason Real Kashmir lost was because Mohun Bagan scored two goals and they didn’t.

“They scored two goals and we didn’t and that is the crux of the match. The five minutes of losing focus cost us game. The quality they posses you can’t afford that. It was good game and we tried our best. Last season at same time they came and beat us and then went there and beat them. So everything is not lost. We are disappointed as we pit so much in the game still came out on losing side,” David Robertson said.

Praising Bagan for the quality they posses Robertson said, “We are playing against Bagan and not some Donald Duck-XI. Mohun Bagan is real quality team with big budget, great coach and great history behind them. This side has got the desire to pick up after such outing and we will bounce back. We will get back and check the video footage and see what adjustments we need to make. It is one of those days when it happens and you have to move on”.

He said that his side took little time to get going at the start but in the end it was lapse of concentration that cost them the game.

“Took little time to get off. Bagan was expecting us to come all guns blazing, but that didn’t happened. However, as the time progressed we grew stronger and stronger then got caught in four to five minutes of bad spell that cost us game. Just before that Mason had great header and if that would have got in the outcome would have been different,” he said.

“This season we are creating more chances but conceding more as well. Have to look into that. We will now come back play Minerwa on Friday and our focus is to come out with full three points,” he added
