“We have prepared for Pakistan to be at their best,” says Eoin Morgan ahead of match

Srinagar, May 2: England captain Morgan on Sunday said that his team won’t be taking Pakistan lightly in their next match as they are expecting an ‘A game’ from Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men.

England hasn’t ruled off Pakistan after their horrible outing against West Indies in the first match. The English side seems to be quite aware of a strong comeback by the Asian side.

Talking at the pre-match press conference, Eoin Morgan insisted that they have prepared for this game, expecting Pakistan to come hard at them. He also said that they have been number one ODI ranked side just couple of years ago.

“We have prepared for Pakistan to be at their best, they were the best side in the world in ODIs just two years ago so we’ll be ready for their A game” Morgan said.

England defeated South Africa in the first match and are being considered as hot favourites of the tournament. Pakistan, on other hand, was thrashed by Windies in their first World Cup encounter. The two sides are set to face-off tomorrow at Nottingham.
