Srinagar: In an extraordinary level of fitness and superhuman ability Pakistan star wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan went on to travel from Colombo , Sri Lanka to Ontario, Canada to feature in two matches on two days and score two fifties.
The Pakistan star batter featured for Pakistan in second Test vs Sri Lanka on Thursday, July 27th in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He went on to score fifty as Pakistan wrapped up win the second test.
On Friday, July 28, Mohammad Rizwan featured for Vancouver Knights against Brampton Wolves in the Global T20 Canada in Ontario Canada to lead his side to a nine wicket win.
The super fit cricketer from Pakistan immediately after second Test vs Sri Lanka travelled to Ontario from Colombo to feature in a match for Vancouver Knights. Mohammad Rizwan travelled 14,000 kms in 36 hours and without any specific rest featured in straight two matches in two days in two continents. Not only did Rizwan batted but performed his duties behind stumps as well.
Vancouver Knights chased down target of 129/9 set by Brampton Wolves in 17.1 overs for the loss of only one wicket. Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 52 from 42. He hit two boundaries and three sixes. His partner Corbin Bosch remained unbeaten on 50 from 41.
Rassie van der Dussen termed Mohammad Rizwan superhuman for playing match straight after his arrival.
“Mohammad Rizwan seems like a superhuman, he flew from the airport and straight into this match. He arrived today only and he was ready to play for us. His experience really helped me as a captain today,” Rassie van der Dussen said.
